The meeting of the Yazd Policy Council; Capital of Tourism for the Member Countries of the Asia Dialogue Cooperation Forum’ was held under the chairmanship of the Governor of Yazd.”

At the meeting of the Yazd Policy Council; Capital of Tourism for the Member Countries of the Asia Dialogue Cooperation Forum, issues related to hosting the ACD tourism ministers’ meeting in Yazd were reviewed and decided upon.
In the meeting, which took place on Saturday, September 25th, Mehran Fatemi, the Governor of Yazd, referred to Yazd’s selection as the capital of tourism for the member countries of the Asia Dialogue Cooperation Forum (ACD) in 2024 and stated that Yazd will host the ministers and ambassadors from 35 countries of the world in November of this year.”
“The Governor of Yazd stated in this meeting: ‘I will personally follow up and manage the meetings related to this event so that we can bring all the province’s capacities to assist the secretariat of this event and hold the best ceremony.’
He emphasized the importance of this international event by highlighting the need for interaction and cooperation among all institutions and organizations in organizing the program.
Fatemi added: ‘The most important issue is inviting the officials and ministers from the countries, which must be handled and pursued effectively.’
The Governor of Yazd noted the significance of hosting this event for the Islamic Republic and the province of Yazd, saying: ‘We will invest in conducting this event at the best level and quality.’
He stressed that, given the limited time until the event, the committees and secretariat should hold regular weekly meetings with the presence of all members, and if necessary, extraordinary meetings should be convened to ensure proper coordination and follow-up on issues.”
